Does the drum bounce or settle?
Push and release. Settling at once is healthy; two or three bounces is worn damping.

What to do in the next ten minutes
With the machine off, push the drum down firmly and let go. It should settle at once; one that bounces has lost its damping. Then check level: press each corner of the cabinet in turn and see if it rocks, and look at whether the feet are locked. Finally, reach into the drum and turn it by hand, listening for a rumble or grinding that follows the rotation.
What holds a drum still
A front loader's drum hangs on springs and is damped by shock absorbers, and the whole assembly is designed to absorb an imbalance the electronics could not fully correct. As the damping wears the springs are left doing the work alone, the drum swings further, and the bearing at the back takes loads it was never meant to. Nothing on the panel reports any of that, which is why the push test in the ten-minute list is worth more here than any code.
When it is worth the strip-down
On most makes a drum bearing at ten years is the end of the machine. On a steel-framed Asko it frequently is not, because the frame, the motor and the electronics around the bearing are still sound.
