Test the movement rather than the noise
Drum pushed and released to see how quickly it settles. A drum that bounces has lost its damping whatever the machine sounds like.

Replace as a set and check the springs
All absorbers together, springs checked for stretch, and the mounts inspected — a worn mount destroys a new absorber quickly.

Level it to the floor it is on
Feet set and locked on the actual floor, which in a tiled laundry closet is rarely as flat as it looks. Level is half of what damping has to fight.
