Collection container emptied, door lint filter rinsed and dried, plinth opened and the condenser filter washed out. In this climate that last one packs solid within months.

Prove the air actually moves
Airflow checked through the machine with the filters back in, because a filter that looks clean and a filter that flows are not the same thing.

Then test heat and sensing
Heater or heat pump circuit, thermostats, and the moisture sensor bars cleaned and read. A film on those bars tells the machine the load is already dry.
