Clear the channel and follow the water
Drain flushed and the flow confirmed all the way to the evaporation tray, rather than assumed from the fact that it went down.

Test the drain heater where fitted
Continuity and operation at temperature. A heater that works warm and fails cold is the reason a cleared drain blocks again in a fortnight.

Deal with what has already leaked
The cabinet floor and the joinery below checked and dried. Water that has reached chipboard is a different conversation, and it is better had now.

How quickly should it come back?
That interval is the diagnosis and only you can measure it. Ice back within days points at the drain heater or its sensor; a month or more points at a door left off its catch or at humid air getting in, and neither of those is a component we can fit.
Can I use a hairdryer on the ice?
Gently, briefly and held at a distance if you must. Plastic liners deform under direct heat and the elements behind them do not enjoy it either, so warm water poured slowly down the channel and a little patience are the safer route and work just as well.
